His plans are greater than your own

What does your day include?
What are the known parts that you’re expecting to happen? And the unknowns that always present themselves—what will they look like?
Will your prayers get answered? Will you continue to wait?
What challenges might present themselves? Or what hiccups might come along as you interact with others and make decisions?
Will you be asked to pivot?
Will the transition be easier or harder than you thought?
—but above any and all questions, do you know what question changes everything?
Will God be present?
Because the answer to the last question is ALWAYS, the answers to the other ones can come as they may or linger unanswered because you’re walking with the One who knows the end from the beginning. All of it.

The details are under His mighty hand.
The provision will probably happen differently than you’d predict but it will always be more powerful, promising, and purposeful than you’d imagine.
When fear roars or insecurity nags or anxiety interrupts, you get to submit them to the feet of Jesus and watch His care canvas the very place you felt weak, stale, tired, or weary to walk out.

At school drop off,
At your work event,
In your car on the way,
Amidst the everyday happenings of your real life, GOD IS THERE. The ever-present, Almighty, sovereign God is holding you and it.

You get to jump off the mental rollercoaster that wages war on the peace of your soul and asks you to travel at an unsustainable pace and you get to tell it, “I am doing the next thing my Father has asked of me. He said you can ask Him about the rest.”
Yesterday’s chaos or last week’s panic doesn’t have to write your normal for this day or any day forward.

God is able. His character is failproof. He is with you. He LOVES you. Write it down, tie it around your neck, and recall it every moment that you can.
How sweet it is to retire from the mental gymnastics of living perfectly or predictably and rest in the serenity of knowing the perfect One is in charge of the particulars of your plan 🤍
