Speak this over your week:

Thanksgiving is over and we are preparing for another week. Whether packing lunches or our work bag or sorting through our agenda, whatever it contains, we approach the intersection of anxiety vs anticipation yet again. As we close out November + welcome December, we will:

💫 Begin each morning with worship. When we discipline ourselves in remembering that He is God and we are not, we enter our days with the foundation of freedom + trust. He can handle whatever comes.

💫 We will choose words that uplift + benefit us and those around us. When we want to criticize, we will reel it in and ask Jesus for a fresh perspective. There is always good to see—we will speak to that.

💫 In every area of our lives, we will trust God with the harvest. Whether it be a promotion or an answered prayer, we will trust the timing of the One who made time. There’s no one who wants us to flourish more than our Father.

💫 We will let the Christmas lights along every path point us to the light of all eternity—Jesus. As we navigate the week ahead, we will make room for Him our top priority. Christmas is coming—the Messiah has made His home in us.

💫 We will get OUTSIDE. We will open our eyes to the sights and the sounds and the stillness of nature and when the crisp air hits our face, we will be reminded that Jesus is making all things new. HOPE—unwavering hope—it’s our horizon.

This week, we are safe.
We are able to close our eyes and rest because the palm of His hands holds + covers + steadies our soul.
