Jesus, thank You.
Thank You. Gratitude is the glue for a healthy foundation. Opening my eyes to all that You are and all that You’re doing, it’s everywhere. You’re so consistent and kind.
As we enter where we are, FILL us with fresh strength. Infuse us with JOY that sings a song back to You. You have readied us for this season, no matter the struggles that it holds. In fact, it’s the discomfort we are most prepared for—we are deeply wired to do hard things and live in dependence. Remind us of that.

Will You help praise set our posture?
Let it coach our emotions when they feel imprisoned by the standards of the world, the timeline culture suggests, or the anxieties of tomorrow. Embolden us. You have given us the power of a sound mind and a steady spirit. We have GREAT HOPE and our peace is safe. It can’t be taken away when it’s found in You.

Ruthlessly eliminate anything and everything that keeps us living on the surface.
Uncover what must be unearthed so that we can plant deep, strong, reliant roots in You.
Illuminate anything we idolize. Strengthen our frame and help us yearn for holiness, stripping away all else, no matter how comfortable or cozy it feels. If it keeps us from You, we don’t want it. If it creates distance between us, we can’t afford to keep it.
You are life.
You are peace!
You are the fullness we crave.

Walking up the stairs to Heaven’s view, our shortsightedness becomes so obvious.
OH.
There You are.
You were working and moving and mending and healing and helping and restoring and reviving the WHOLE TIME.
